It has come to light that Ayda Clarity (also known as Adya Clarity), a popular product distributed as a health panacea and liquid water purifier may actually be diluted battery acid with extremely high levels of aluminum and iron. One of the very highly promoted and visible products within the the health foodist industry is a liquid water purification solution known as “Ayda or Adya Clarity.” It is being solding in varying sizes with the quart size being $150 USD and up.

Adya Clarity is being promoted as a potent water purifier, fluoride and toxic chemical remover, mineral supplement, plant and bud growth stimulator amongst other claims. Distributors also intimate that it can help cure those with candida and other skin issues, cancer, arthritis, heavy metal contamination, kidney stones along with a number of other ailments.

It turns out that Adya Clarity has only been licensed in Canada as an iron supplement.

Ayda Clarity, also Adya Clarity, may also contain extremely high levels of aluminum and iron amongst other substances dissolved in a diluted base of sulfuric acid (battery acid). The distributors neglected to reveal this crucial information in their public documents and sales material.

Why Could This Be Problematic?
In a quote from Ian Clark, one of the original distributors who began to question the legitimacy of the producer’s claims last year, he states, “Aluminum Sulfate – especially in the Adya Clarity – in Ionic Form – in solution – extracted using Sulfuric Acid – absorbs 100% in the bone marrow and brain and does NOT come out. It takes a specific detox protocol to remove this from the system.” Ian subsequently discontinued his relationship with Adya soon afterward.

Metals such as aluminum that are dissolved and processed in an acidic base can be in the form of extremely small particulate or atomic structure. As such, they can be more toxic. Also, in such form, they are more likely to be cross the intestinal and blood brain barriers, taken up by the cells, including those of the central nervous system and bone marrow. The results of such mineral and metal uptake and toxicity may be difficult to correctly ascertain and then remove.

However, …whether this product is harmful or not has not been proven either way. But, until proven safe, it is inadvisable to ingest such a product. It is especially important not to give this product to children.
